Being grounded means that you are connected with the earth. When you´re grounded, you allow yourself to feel centered and balanced no matter what´s going on around you. Sometimes grounding is hard because of you feel out of placed an unloved. Healing or integrating this part of you that doesn´t want to be here takes time. Something similar happens when you are experiencing intense emotions. 
Being present with those emotions can be challenging, and grounding can bring up the pieces that you haven´t looked at yet. Spiritual connection is a matter of finding ways to show your genuine love, care and gratitude to people around you, especially your partner and loved ones. Spiritual connection may mean different things to people. You can base your spiritual connection with your religious beliefs, interpersonal relationships and all other factors that affect your life. 
Some people show their kindness by helping the poor and the oppressed.  Others silently grow their spirituality through self-meditation and yoga.
