The thoughts behind the painting:
The ability to express my feelings without fear by painting, drawing, creating jewelry or writing – that is the most beautiful feeling to me. It is a freedom that I did not know before, a freedom that saved me out from a severe illness – the sclerosis. To me, art means to feel life, to feel that I am alive, to feel myself. Tulips represent spring; everything starts to bloom, to grow, to live - that liveliness after a long winter. Not being able to speak the truth and being scared to death and made responsible for the luck of those who mistreated you, will take your breath away and life stands still. That responsibility lies heavy in the stomach but … finally – it´s springtime. I´m happy and thankful and I want to celebrate it.
